Hello, this is Dr. David. I have read your question and I'm ready to help.
this is a good idea if you have occasional swelling in your legs or excessive fluid in your legs.
poor circulation or lymphedema or excessive salt intake in your diet can cause swelling or extra fluid in your legs from time to time
so when you sit back in that recliner, putting your legs up above your heart can help reduce that swelling which is a good thing.
that is fine that the when you put your legs down, the blood goes back into the legs normally.
this is ok.
do you have occasional swelling in your legs?
