My wife was passing blood clots with no stool. Went to doctor

Customer Question

My wife was passing blood clots with no stool. Went to doctor and he put her in hosiptal.
Did a CT scan without iodine, wife in allergic, and it did show the a blockage. He then recommend a Colonoscopy of the lower section. That was perform but when he went in it was still very cloudy/dark. He could not determine anything else. He would like to do another Colonoscopy. My question is why he needs to do one period, if he already know there is a blockage?? And if so is there any other procedure that my be used in liu of a colonoscopy?
