Customer Question

2 days ago I aspirated some pork rind crumbs. Initially, I had a coughing fit. And now I'm VERY short of breath. I'm only inhaling 50%of what I do normally. I can't do anything! I can't get my breath and my heart rate increases a lot when I get up and try to do something. What should I do?

Hello, this is Dr. David. I have read your question and I'm ready to help.
you should go to the ER and get a chest xray and breathing evaluation with pulmonary function test.
the doctors can listen to your lungs as well.
if they detect something in your airways, they can ask a lung doctor to go in through a bronchoscopy scope to pull it out.
if they think you are having an asthma attack, they can give you treatments for asthma.
they can also give you oxygen therapy as well.
do you have an ER or hospital close to you where you can go right away?
