This can result in diffuse esophageal muscle spasms.
That can result in the regurgitation, burping symptoms.
Since this is nerve mediated response, this can also trigger toilet response as well, as they are all interconnected.
In most cases, your symptoms will graduall improve over 4 to 6 weeks with the treatment.
Omeprazole 40 mg daily and metoclopramide
10 mg twice daily before meals can be used to help with the symptoms.
Sometimes, you will need additional testing.
Esophageal pH and multiluminal impedence testing are advised in that case after discussing with a GI doc.
