Hi there. Thank you for your question. I will be helping you out with your queries
dizziness is a very nonspecific symptom and can happen with a large number of reasons
Yes I agree that with low blood pressure one tends to have dizziness that is a postural dizziness. By that I mean that when you get up from a sitting or a lying down position you get dizzy.
But is dizziness ever a symptom for high blood pressure?
No its not but there should be another cause of it.
It may be due to medications that you are on.
It may be due to inner ear problem
It may be due to a large number of other causes
Yes, I realize that there are many causes for dizziness. But I just want to have my mind at ease whenever I get dizzy that it's not because my blood pressure is high.
high blood pressure should not cause dizziness
what is your blood pressure right now?
I mean how high is it?
The last reading last night was 148/86, but it's probably because I was under a lot of stress and because it was already 10:00 P.M., and I take my pill at 6:00 A.M.
This blood pressure is not too high at all
so this should not cause any symptoms
I know. But everytime I have get dizzy, I worried sick that my blood pressure is high.

148/86 is an average of all my readings from last night, but my highest reading was 154/92. However, my blood pressure readings are normally like 98/60, 110/64, 114/73, and 118/78 when it is taken in the morning or afternoon.
These blood pressure readings are not bad at all
I mean this should not cause your dizziness
