Hi. Dr Rick here. I completed an Internal medicine internship in NYC and have two decades of clinical experience. How can I assist you today?
Not as long as your high blood pressure is controlled.
Just make sure to take your BP medicine as directed.
oo i dont use high bloodpressure pills
my bloodpressure right now is 147/85 and a heart rate of 55
meassured with a electronic blood pressure machine
With a BP in that range you should visit your doctor and consider going on medication. That being said, sometimes loosing weight and exercising can lower your BP without meds, but it has to be a significant percentage of body weight loss.
Those are accurate.
55 is perfectly normal for a heart rate.
i meassured it with my sweater on
i shall try it whitout
oo now it is 130/73
with a heart rate of 57
ok. That not bad at all.
but my heart rate can get up to 34 while i'm sleepng
you should get a notebook and record your BP at various times during the day, always being sure to relax for a few moments before taking your BP. On your next visit bring these data to your MD for her review.
Yes, You and I have discussed your heart rate when sleeping......
Does this make sense to you?
ok i will do that!
Great! Have a good day.
I hope this information was helpful for you. But I do work for tips so I want to make sure you are happy with me before rating me. If you have another question on this or a related issue feel free to fire away. You may also receive an email survey after our chat, if you can please give me a “10” rating in all areas. It has been a pleasure to assist you today. Thanks in advance, Dr. Rick MD FACS
normally when at the doctors office is 120/80 to 130/80
that is fine then....nothing to worry about. But keep a record anyway just in case.
