Ok, thanks. I'm at week 3 and barely able to stand the doxycycline any longer, i feel absolutely horrible.
but since it's in question whether or not i've had lyme for several years (complicated history, fibromyalgia involved) I'm trying for four.
Is four better than three in the case that it truly is a long standing Lyme infection?
so are you saying I should have felt better by now?
what i meant was that i feel the doxycycline is giving me side effects making me feel even worse.
My doctor said that 3 weeks is good for recent Lyme infection, but he said if I truely have had lyme for several years now that he doesnt know anything about long term treatment
my fault. Yes, i have taken neurontin off and on. Its effective for sleep. I cannot handle Lyrica, too many side effects. Savella i havnt heard of or tried, i'm happy you mentioned it
Unfortunately antidepressants are pretty much out of the question at this point, i've tried about 6 of them and all with horrible results, actually feeling much sicker and more depressed. SAM-E is a natural one that helps a little bit, but its very weak. Same with st. john's wart.
i think thats about it.
cymbalta is an SSRI isnt it? Is it similar to other SSRI's? I've had really bad luck with effexor and lexapro
