Your symptoms are suggestive of pancreatitis.
A CT scan with contrast of the abdomen should be considered for diagnosis.
Diet needs to be strictly restricted.
High fiber, low fat bland diet is preferred for 2-3 weeks.
it would not be pancreatic cancer would it
However, if there is pancreatitis, the causes can be varied like--high triglycerides, gall stones, alcohol induced, pancreatic duct obstruction.
unlikely at your age.
the above causes are more likely which are treatable.
i thought pancreatitis would show up with in the enzyme blood levels
sometimes may not.
serum lipase and amylase both should be checked.
they were and came back normal
and sometimes the enzymes become normal but the pancreatitis may still be present.
the cancer is my greatest fear
But I will not worry about that right now.
