thank you for your question
I think that you should have a few tests done if you have not had them done already. You should have your kindey function checked because sometimes thats the cause of high blood pressure. If your blood pressure is consistently high you should be on regular blood pressure medications like lisinopril.
I would also like that you should have your EKG done to have a look at your heart rhythm and rate.
Sudden rise in blood pressure like this with headache, shaky feeling, nausea and palpitations can also be a feature of a panic attack which can happen in people who are anxiety prone or have a lot of stress.
So all the above causes should be considered and ruled out in your case.\
Let me know if you have any further questions.
I am here online to answer any questions or comments that you may have.
are you with me?
Have had EKG. am on meds for heart rhythm. don't think panic attach because low grade headache since day before.
What kind of medications are you on?
Are you diagnosed with high blood pressure officially?
What kind of rhythm problem are you having?
Please let me know.
beta blocker for irregular rhythm and losartan
okay so you are already on medications for high blood pressure and to regulate your heart rhythm. Have you had these spikes of blood pressure investigated as yet?
yes Have regular dr. visiting another state now when this happened
Have you been in a lot of stress recently?
Have you had your urea and creatinine checked?
or basal metabolic profile (BMP)
I think that you should have that done because a deteriorating kidney functioning can cause one to have these kind of spikes.
If you have not reduced on your salt intake as yet you should have that done as well because that can cause spikes of high blood pressure as well.
Do you have these episodes frequently?
normally eat low salt, but get more traveling. only once before
If you start having frequent episodes then a rare condition i.e. pheochromocytoma should be considered because that can also cause one to have these kind of episodes.
Other than that I think that first of all you should have routine blood tests to make sure that your organs are working fine, the most important being the kidney.
also, recently notice hands shaking occasionally
With your hands shaking you should also have your thyroid function checked as well because that can cause both the shaking and the high blood pressure.
Thats also a routine blood test.
anything else that you would like to ask\/
