In order for a bat to transit rabies it should come in physical contact with you.
Since that has not happened I would not worry and would not seek a doctor's help yet.
Calling pest control may be a good option to see if there is anything in there and to get rid of it.
Rabies cannot be transmitted by "air" coming in from the chimneys. So that is not something that you should be worried about.

Yes that is correct but in those cases you have to come into physical contact with the bat.
