Hello, this is Dr. David. I have read your question and I'm ready to help.

sounds like you are worried about cancer.

this doesn't sound like cancer.

this sounds more like inflammation of your gall bladder which can happen or a gall stone.

you should get an ultrasound of your gall bladder to check for infection or inflammation or gall stones.

and avoid eating fatty foods which can worsen gall bladder issues as well.

do you have a doctor you can see who can order an ultrasound of your gall bladder?

I do have a GP that I am seeing on the 27th.
When I don't eat my stomach gets upset.
when I do eat it feels better temporarily then comes the bloating and cramping. feels like all the little muscles between my ribs are sore.
My back feels tight and is definitely more sore on the left side.
Could it be a pinched nerve. are my back and stomach separate issues?
sounds like you have issues with excessive stomach acid production as well

you might need to start on a stomach acid blocker like pepcid or prilosec to help decrease stomach acid prodution.

you might need testing for H Pylori stomach bacteria which can worsen stomach acid production.

your back and stomach might be separate issues or could be related.

first get your stomach acid under control and see if your back pain gets better. if it goes, then most likely they were related.

have you taken stomach acid blockers like nexium or protonix or prilosec or pepcid before?

no, I generally dont like taking any medication. what about an ulcer or hernia, or IBS?
IBS is a definite possibility which can cause bloating and cramping symptoms

Stomach ulcers are a possibility if your excess stomach acid symptoms have been going on for a long time

And upper endoscopy scope procedure looking inside the stomach can check for ulcers

Hernia is less likely given your symptoms
