How long has this been going on?
Also, how long since your last complete physical exam including pelvic exam?
This time for a month and a half. last pelvic exam in 2001.
so it's very hard to say what this might be
what is not hard to say is that this is a concerning symptom
and that you absolutely need to see a doctor and get your physical exam done quickly'
the reason is
that while there are very many benigns (not harmful) causes of abdominal bloating after eating
such as irritable bowel syndrome
or problems with gastric (stomach) emptying
there are potentially dangerous causes too
and at age 60 and without relief from over the counter remedies
it is very important to get checked out quickly
problems with the stomach and abdomen are notoriously difficult to diagnose
without labs and imaging studies such as endoscopy, CT scan, and ultrasound
I understand. It"s been awhile since I have seen a Dr. , but everyone around me seems to have the same opinion you do. Go see a Doctor.
you were right
to try the typical remedies
but they have not helped
hopefully this will be something easily diagnosed and treated
but you need to make sure that there is not a mechanical reason for this problem
meaning something hindering the stomach from emptying
sometimes these problems can be quite serious
so it is definitely time to get checked
do you have any final questions for me?
