Are you having any changes of the skin? Redness, bumps?
no rash...no bumps
And any distribution to the itchig?
Any specific spots?
Is this new bedding? Have you traveled or slept anywhere different than your normal home? Have you changed detergents?
No...Im at home...it starts before I go to bed
today it did...but for the first time it woke me up
Do you take any medications or supplements?
No medications...usual supplement (protein)...
I just had some tea...it calms it a bit...but does not stop the itching
Have you performed any treatment, i.e. over the counter treatments yourself?
And what other medical conditions (if any) do you have?
No because I don't believe its a skin thing...the itching is from d inside and its horrible
last 3 days samething...starts around 10pm....
And no other medical conditions?
today to..but it went and came back...and woke me up
could it be high blood sugar or something with the kidney ?
No, that wouldn't come on acutely and cause itching. Liver problems can cause itching and jaundice
Scratching does not effect your symptoms? you said it is internal.
I meant liver....I am on testosterone therapy...minimum dose1cc cypionate a week
What medical conditions do you have for example, why are you on testosterone
actually no conditions cause im a fitness trainer so I eat very healthy..but my test was low (ed) so I went on it..
Ok. You should ideally be seen urgently, for bloodwork including liver enzyme evaluation. If you develop any respiratory symptoms such as shortness of breath, difficutly swallowing, swelling then it is very imperative that you be seen urgently. If you feel this is not appropriate for you (i can not physically make you go to the ER) then seeing your primary care doctor asap would be the next (but less desirable option) they may provide you with some short-course oral steroid therapy or antihistamine to manage your symptoms while a cause is sought.
I have none of those symptons...I happen to do some blood work last Thursday and sugar was 7 and wbc was 3-8 - monocytes13 - eosinophil 5.1 - neuthrophil 1.0 - SGOT 68 - SGPT 71
the tea is calming it....weird
why did you go to the doctor to have that bloodwork done?
btw...I live un Aruba
I do always just to check up...I go to a lab..
And this has never happened before?
What tea are you using?
When did you start that tea?
just now...I read it cures a lot so I tried it last night and it calmed it....but the itching comes back
during the day nothing...at night it starts
and have you changed your diet at all or laundry detergent, soap etc
I cant answer for sure but I will check 3morrow since I work at a hotel spa....so they might. So you don't think its the liver or blood sugar? I must say I did loose 8lbs since februari....out of nowhere
No, not regarding your bloodwork - however I still feel you should be seen for a physical examination.
ok ...I will do that....and get back to you. Thank you..
You need to see if you can find out about detergents.
That would be the likely cause of bodywide itching, however despite your bloodwork being as it is just recently, you need a reevaluation, not just at a bloodwork lab.
ok..will ask 2morrow about that...if they did change detergents..what can I do to stop the itching except warn them ?
Oatmeal baths or calamine lotions
have a good night
