Sometimes I feel dizzy like I am going to fall backwards. Is there something specific that can cause this?

Hi there,

Commonly low blood pressure can cause this.
Benign positional vertigo is another cause.
Customer: replied 3 years ago.

Thanks - I don't have low blood pressure. I was diagnosed with an inner ear infection last year and again about six weeks ago. The doctor said I had fluid behind the ear which causes the dizziness - is this correct?

Yes that is correct.
Inner ear has the balance organ.
Hence ear infection can cause this.
