Melatonin does not cause increase in blood pressure.
In fact melatonin does reduce the BP at night time.
Hence, melatonin is not the problem for her.
How is her kidney function?
from what i know fine
If the kidney function is good, then her problem is likely due to the high blood pressure itself.
Propranolol dose can be increased in the morning.
This can be discussed with her doctor.
As long as the BP stays around 130, this is fine.
Also diet should be watched.
Low salt diet.
Potassium and magnesium supplements help lowering blood pressure.
but if she wakes up in the 130 -140 is there to be worried about.
This is not considered high.
i should monitor for a couple more days
yes you should.
then you can discuss with her doctor if the BP runs higher than 140
