Imitrex increases the risk of seizures.
Also imitrex is not appropriate for every type of migraine.
Initially, ibuprofen or naproxen should be tried which is safer to use in epileptic patient.
I have an 18 year boy working for me. We live in a very remote area with very little medical care available on week ends. I have prescription imitrex. He has taken aspirin, is not dehydrated, has eaten recently and is epileptic.
