The past week. at times the pain is about 7. Right, like today I was not able to eat anything.
Dear XXXXX,
Thank you for providing quick additional info.

The area of pain you have described is medically called as right hypochondrium.

The pain you are having can be due to number of causes:gallbladder disease, duodenal ulcer, acute pancreatitis, liver problems, subphrenic abscess.

You need following tests:

-Ultrasound of upper abdomen,
-Upper Endoscopy,
-Stool examination & culture,
-Urinalysis
-CT scan/MRI scan of whole abdomen,

You need to go to Emergency Room. Most likely cause can be gall bladder inflammation or stone or it can be due to liver disease.

So for confirmation,I advice you to go to ER to have these tests done so as to know the exact underlying cause & then treatment will be done accordingly.

Hope this helped.
