How can I become more self controlled against lust

I am online and available to help you today. Thank you for your patience.

What sort of problem are you having with lust?

Are you acting inappropriately toward another person, forcing yourself on them, or doing illegal sexual actions like lusting after underage kids?

This is not an answer, but an Information Request. I need this information to answer your question. Please reply, so I can answer your question. I look forward to helping you.

Nothing illegal at all or forceful... I just feel like I have a wonderful girlfriend who loves me in incredible ways everyday yet I still find myself pursuing other women. I know if it were to happen, I wouldn't feel good about it. Not only would it hurt her but it would make me feel like less of a man. I find my gf to be more attractive than any of these women yet I still lust after them

Well, for starters, there is a saying: "It doesn't matter where you get your appetite, just as long as you come home to feed."

So. If you just think about other women, but don't do anything with them, then there is no problem.

If, however, it is more then that the place to go to work on self control would be to speak to a counselor or psychologist. Using talk therapy or programs such as CBT they would be able to help you control your lustful urges.

Is there anything else you would like to discuss at this point or have all your questions been answered to your satisfaction?

I hope this information was helpful for you. But I do work for tips so I want to make sure you are happy with me before rating me. If you have another question on this or a related issue feel free to fire away. You may also receive an email survey after our chat, if you don’t feel that I have earned a “10” rating in all areas, please let me know what I can do to meet your expectations.

Thanks in advance,

What exactly is a cbt? And yes it's worse than just thoughts unfortunately.

Sorry to hear that....

Cognitive behavioral therapy. Here is a website that goes over this therapy in detail:

I think CBT would really help you.

Does this make sense to you?

It's safe for you to press the positive feedback button now if you so desire. And, never fear, even after you press that button I don't go up in a puff of smoke -- I'll still be right here to continue helping you, but, as I do work for tips, I want to make sure you are happy before rating me.
