I purchased the OraQuick home HIV test that is FDA-approved

I purchased the OraQuick home HIV test that is FDA-approved and gives results in 20 minutes. six months post-exposure. If it comes back negative, does that mean i don't have HIV?
A negative test 6 months after an exposure is considered definitive. Current CDC recommendations would consider a negative test (such as the OraQuick) at 6 months "final" - no further testing would be required.

However, I do believe it is important to understand that a positive OraQuick test always needs repeated because there is a small risk of false positives.
