Hello

What about this concerning STD risks :
- with an unknown women abroad
- protected relation except for mutual caresses
- Scratches with long nails done between my legs (thin skin-visible veins)
- Blood visible hours later but no noticeable bleeding (no need of sticking plaster)
- Eventual presence of body fluids on her hands and nails-(may be blood ? Cut ? I don t know but nothing noticeable)

Thank you for answering me

RickMD :

I am online and happy to help you with your question today.

RickMD :

From what you have posted your risk of HIV infection is a close to zero as is humanly possible. This also goes for other STDs.

RickMD :

The only risk I can see is from possible hepatitis and, even there, I do not think your chances, from what you have posted, is high enough to worry about.

RickMD :

So. What is the take home message? You are OK and will be fine.

RickMD :

Does this answer your question to your satisfaction?

I hope this information was helpful for you. But I do work for tips so I want to make sure you are happy with me before rating me. If you have another question on this or a related issue feel free to fire away. And please let me know if the rating system gives you any troubles.

Thanks in advance,

Dr. Rick

I see that you are offline. I'll switch over to the Q&A system. This system works a lot like 'text messaging' but an email is sent to each of us anytime something is posted to this thread. We can continue to work on your question there..... :)

We have been experiencing technical difficulties with the chat system. Please allow me to retype my chat here for your review:

Thank you very much for your quick answer. Should I get worried by the close to zero ?

No. Not at all. There is no need for you to worry from what you have posted.

It's safe for you to press the positive feedback button now if you so desire. And, never fear, even after you press that button I don't go up in a puff of smoke -- I'll still be right here to continue helping you, but, as I do work for tips, I want to make sure you are happy before rating me.
