how do you know it is an abscess?

What was injected?

What does it look like now?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

former medic, so i know it is abscess. ambien was injected. hard lump swollen around it and hot to the touch

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 4 years ago.

It definitely needs to be drained then.

Plus oral antibiotics.

Can you see your doctor or a doctor?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

is there a chance i could fix this myself? or is it serious? i wont be able to see a Dr until thursday

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 4 years ago.
Oh no, Melinda.

Far too dangerous.

You need a doctor to do this under sterile conditions or risk severe infection

You can try warm compresses and getting it to come to a head but that is risky.

Please don’t click “bad” or “poor” service as this leaves negative feedback for me. If you aren’t 100% satisfied or have more questions, click “reply” instead.

What else would you like to know?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

i want to know exactlt how to do it myself... cause its very painful and i dont have the money to see a doctor

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 4 years ago.
Melinda. Stop.

You are risking your life because you don't have Money?

You have to go to the ER.

You could get a blood infection and die if this isn't treated properly.

Do you understand that?
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

i do understand that.... but i have some medical training and think i could do it just need a guide.

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 4 years ago.
You have no sterile equipment (which you can't get)

You have no numbing medicine.

No tools.

Melinda, stop. It cannot be done let alone safely.

Please go to the ER and change your rating to excellent.

I don't deserve a bad rating.
Customer: replied 4 years ago.

i used my last 25 dollars on here. money i would have had for a doctor...

Expert:  Dr. Phil, MD replied 4 years ago.
you didn't pay me anything Melinda.

By rating bad service I receive no compensation.

The ER has to treat you. Regardless of your money situation.

Can I ask customer service to change my rating to good?
