Thanks for the details. I would like to say that first of all AVOID any pain killers now. It is important to note that symptoms can only get treated after treating the cause. I will suggest to take fiber supplement such as Metamucil available OTC and take probiotics in diet. You should also take healthy diet rich in fruits and vegetables. Your doctor can only prescribe you Tab. Nexium 40mg one tablet daily which will be helpful. I will suggest to ask your doctor for early colonoscopy because of serious symptoms.
