OK
Has this been examined?
Have you had this problem before?

If not, you are waiting too long for exam, which should include abdominal and pelvic exam if you are not up to day.
This can be anything from a bowel pain toe ovarian pain, irritable bowel syndrome, etc.
The pain sounds more like bowel pain, meaning irritable bowel, but it is somewhat unusual as you are not reporting diarrhea, ,constipation or other symptoms.

I would suggest that you need the exam and then based on this an ultrasound of the abdomen.

If there is any family history of colon cancer, then you need a colonoscopy now.

This can also be adhesions from the previous surgery.
If this is suspected then an MRI is the test that is needed.

Let me know if you have further questions.
