i would like a sex change ,but im nearly 57 nowive felt like this since being 7 years old

Thanks for the question and coming on Just Answer. I would like to have few important details. You have any history of anxiety or depression? Any known medical illness? Any evaluation done by urologist or plastic surgeon for sex change yet?
no ,no axiety or depression ,i do have light varicose vein s though.
Thanks for the details. I would like to say that first of all it is very important to have evaluation for the surgery in order to change sex. I will highly advise to have evaluation done by sexologist first and might need to have few important tests such as thyroid function tests, blood testosterone level, blood estrogen/progesterone level. After that sexologist will refer you to a plastic surgeon for surgery depending on the assessment. I will also suggest you to have psychotherapy sessions or see psychiatrist who deals with sex behavior issues which will be very helpful.
