OK
Citalopram will take about 7 days to be out of your system.
It will still interact with alcohol even if you do not take it for a day.

So
First, we can not take the place of your doctor and over ride your doctors instructions.
Second, the possible drug interaction is likely to happen whether you take the pill for a day or not.

Although some people certainly have a single drink while on citalopram, the waning on the interaction is to generally avoid.

Let me know if you have further questions.
