What are the symptoms and what did the MRI show?
what is your answer,,, if no answer l cancel everthing
Okay. All I have to go on is age and Female.
As well as an abnormal MRI I am assuming.
My guess would be multiple sclerosis just based on this information.
If you provide me with more information like MRI findings and symptoms I can help more.
I noticed you left negative feedback.
Please provide me information so I can help
What did the MRI show and what are the symptoms?
Hello there: It is me who apologises. If I were the patient I could give precise information. So I should not have asked,,, about my daughter who is far away... and I am telling her that I am contacting you.
NOW:
She is 49. Her symptoms since 20 days is in her jaw I guess... A Feeling like she has had anestesia to jave a tooth removed,,, !!!!!
Her generalist suggested Lyme disease and to that effecta blood test was made with o,99 (meabing DUBIOUS) She will gave another test in a week. Meqanwhile sje was asked tp have an MRI. She did , The result ... I do not lnow in detail... except that in grench in anomalie dans la sunstance blanche. A neurologist saw the result and said she should have a PUNCYURE OF Lombare. Jer movements are ok... her eyes ok,,,, the only thinh is that feeling in the jaw I guess.... and a feeling of a ballish... thing. SORRU I DO NOT KNOW... SHE IS FINE OTHERWISE>>> LEGS>>> ARMS>>>>SIGHT.. MOVEMENTS ETC
SHE DOES NOT KNOW I AM SENDING YOU THIS>>> SHE SHOULD NOT...
She will see her own NEUROLOGIST ON TUESDAY in SWITZERLAND... he was on vacation so she saw a mew one who suggested THE LOMBERE>>>>>>>
She is going to GREECE with the children and then To Russia she works with the UN..( I did too)
i am suggesting not to do so.... except this jaw.... anestesia type of geeling all seems to be allright... i do not have theMIR REPORT nor does she... the neurologist she is seein on tuesday 24 has it... she cannot have it..
your views please... ofcourse i am very very worried..
regards thanks
No problem.
I am happy to help.
This sounds like possibly something called trigeminal neuralgia. This is a disorder of a nerve in the face that causes pain and numbness. It can affect chewing. and chewing sometimes brings it on
This could also be bell's palsy which is a viral infection of a nerve in the face that can cause numbness.
Those would be my two guesses.

i have nit repeat not told her that i am contacting you.... i missed the word NOT in my previous e mail...
but the issue is.... why is there in the MRI an abnormality in the white MATTER... why is there going to be LAMBERE..... is it to elliminate x y z type of defects... the only symptom pf nimmess .... hets you to think that it is or it is not MS !!!!
thanks
regards
OKay
A white matter lesion could indicate MS
The lumbar puncture is to rule out MS
However, white matter lesions can be non specific and not mean anything.
I will get back to you later it is 20.00 jours here
from symptoms what is your opinion ... in the last e mails you mentioned other possibilities than MS,,,,,, the fact of having ;ombere...i understand is to rule out or confirm an MS... Am I right..
You are good.... but very straight..and short i am a latin... not a dutchman !. and somewhat ,,,,,, for me.... as girst yoy said your guess was MS... and now..... why hope all will be well
From symptoms alone my guess would be trigeminal neuralgia or bell's palsy
Doesn't sound like MS just based on symptoms.
Experience: Medical Doctor Trained at a Top Academic Institution
what is it then..... the issue is nimness,,,, hope not ms... but we shall see any other possibility than what you mentioned... is the kunber test obligatory...
what do you think
when i sai i am a latin not a dutchman i meant that i am not for few words like you send .... dry and to the point... you must be busy... but i need a human medical advise... regards
What additional info do you seek?
i think i am c lear
what does my daughter have.... lime no......she has no pain in the mouth jaw... only antestia type of feeling..... she does not have any other symptoms the mri shows white sunstance... then what...
when i say i am latiim and not dutch from where i write... i say so as i need a juman answer in detauil and not a cold one .... like yours smutal
Okay. It's either Bell's palsy, an isolated nerve palsy or MS.I don't think it is MS. I suspect a nerve palsy.
