DEAR Dr. it is a lung cancer diagnose for my father which is almost 4 CM . do you suggest operation urgent or waiting for the test result??

The biopsy should be done at the earliest.
after result by sure it will be too late . isnt it??

It is better to consult with a thoracic surgeon.
If possible the tumor should be removed as soon as possible.

Laparoscopy or thoracoscopic surgery is possible.You can try Mayo clinic in US.This is the link:http://www.mayoclinic.org/thoracic-surgery/ The tumor has grown over 3.5 cm suggesting worsening of the cancer.Hence, the prognosis is bad. It is better to discuss with an oncologist to consider chemotherapy. Best wishes
