hi. for years have been diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome...over last two weeks the symptoms really exploded...severe fatigue-burning, painful and watery eyes, water running from eyes and nose, dizziness, weakness, cannot concentrate, nasal discomfort, head pressure, pin in forehead and nose, headaches, stiff neck...etc...finally the dr. ordered a sinus cat scan and it showed blockages, a deviated septum and a large cyst on left side...i feel like that is the source of the problem--the head pressure i feel could be from the fluid in the cyst moving each time i move head--dr. did say that the fluid moves each time i turn head... as he is not an expert in sinus problems, will have to make an appt with an ent doctor... was wondering if you have any idea what kind of cyst this could be--i feel totally miserable and the pressure is giving me insomnia along with the other symptoms above... any information would be appreciated on what type of cyst this could be...tried to look online but really could not find much info...thankx.... meant to ask in medical but somehow question is in eye category and cannot change....please forward to expert that could answer....thankx
This is Dr. Davidthis is most likely a sinus or mucous retention cyst. if there is enough fluid retained in the sinuses long enough, a cyst can form. if the cyst stays there long enough, the cyst can get infected. you definitely need to see an ENT doctor who can surgically drain the cyst and open up the sinuses surgically so this does not happen again.
