Medical Questions? Ask a Doctor Online!
I am online and happy to help you with your question today.
That color has to be from something you ate. I am not aware of any medical condition that causes your stool to become bright blue.
It may take a few days for the color to return to normal if you are no longer eating whatever caused your stool to change color. I would not worry about this at all.
That being said, if you are really concerned you could put some stool in a ziplock bag and bring it to your doctor.....but, in my opinion, this is not necessary.
Does this make sense to you?
