The numbness of the left side of big toe is due to the inflammation of the nerve.
Due to the swelling the nerve also got inflamed.
It takes several weeks to get better.
You should wear comfortable wide toe box shoes in the mean time.
stay off the feet as much as possible.
You also gently massage the affected area.
Heating pad also may be helpful to improve blood circulation to the nerve.
Natural supplements vitamin B12 1000 mcg daily, vitamin B6 50 mg daily will be helpful with recovery.
Please do get checked for diabetes and thyroid disorder as other causes of these symptoms.
