Pain is not associated with hunger or when I start to salivate.I have no visible sores on my gums and the dentist said they look very healthy. No open sore. The tingling sensation is only there now and again. It generates from my gum to my nose and my ear, on the right side of my face I have always had trouble with a dry throat and snore a lot as I have a deviated semptrum? on the left side of my nose, I did have my ears candled in Australia last September and it started after I came home in October. Could this have been the statrt of it. I hasve taken antibiotics for sinus and this did not alleviate the problem.

This can be a mild form of trigeminal neuralgia. The dentist is unable to find anything conclusive because the area of focus is the wrong one. Although the symptoms appear in the mouth but the pathology is not in the mouth.The ear candling could have affected the trigeminal nerve since the nerve courses along the confines of the middle ear or could be due to a temporomandibular dysfunction.You should see a Neurologist or a Dentist who specializes in trigeminal neuralgia.Treatment options are many.
