Customer Question

I currently have a prescription for Percocet 10/325. I am worried about all that acetominophen and would like to know how to get a prescription for oxycodone without any thing in it such as acetominophen. I have questioned my physician about this and the answer he has given me several times is I would have to go through a Pain Clinic to get oxycodone without any added pain relievers like acetominophen. I am worried about damage to my liver and just don't buy my physicians answer. I believe since I won't be needing more than 60 mg a day, there would be no problem for him to prescribe for me. I am a crane operator and have worked construction all my life and my knees bother me so that I need a moderately strong pain medication like that I am currently prescribed.

Already Tried:
For many years I used over the counter products such as tylenol, Aleve, prescribed 800 mg ibuprofen. And for the last several years I started needing something stronger so I could continue working and being active.

Ok
this is no where near a toxic dose of acetaminophen.
You can take up to 4 grams in a 24 hour period.

I am not sure what the concern here is since you are only at just under 2 grams even at your maximum dose.

I would not be concerned.
Let me know if you have further questions, details or need clarification, just use reply.......
