Since Nuvigil is a stimulant medication and counters sleepiness, it's quite normal to feel tired and sleep after stopping it. Perhaps the fact that you stayed asleep for 3 days was also related to the reason for which you took the Nuvigil in the first place. The half life of Nuvigil (time for half of it to be gone from your body) is about 15 hours, so it's mostly out of your system by 3 days after stopping. Best wishes.
