Hi,I am a 28 year old white male living in Ireland. have the following symptoms:-Loss of energy from whole body - This happens up to three times a day and lasts for an hour. The energy loss is the initial sign of episode beginning. It feels like my legs are floating, just complete weakness-pressure out forehead - Its like a sudden bad headache and then goes when the weakness goes-Diarrehia /nausea sometimes-Face goes snow white-Tightness in throat-Lasts up to half hour before coming normal again-sometimes eating food or drinking bottle of lucozade helps (I eat a normal diet and am not hungry when it occurs)-had tests done for glucose, thyroid and blood sugars -ALL NORMAL-cholestrol is 6.7 (adjusting diet at the moment to reduce this.Thanks you for your help

how was you hemoglobin?
any blood in the diarrhea? or vomiting?
how was your BP?
do you flush when this happen?
Hi, Thank you for your reply. All blood counts came back normal, as did hemoglobin.There is no blood in the diarrhea. No vomiting, but I do feel nausea.Blood pressure was also normal.I feel hot when it occurs, as if I am getting a temperature. But my temperature does not increase and my complexion goes pale/white.Many ThanksDaniel
I would like to rule out whats called carcinoid tumor it comes in the intestine and it is characteristic of flushing,diarrhea,shortness of breath
you need to do 24 hour urine 5 HIAA level usually it is elevated if you have it
Hi,Thank you for reply.. The main issue that I am having is not with my bowel movements or diarrhea. I also do not have shortness of breath.The main issue issues are:-Loss of energy from whole body - This happens up to three times a day and lasts for an hour. Could diabetes be a possibility?
to make it simple Carcinoid releases a chemical in the body called seritonin that have systemic effect that may resemble what you have...I would suggest doing blood glucose beside it too to rule out drop of blood sugar that may cause that too I see you already did CBC,thyroidlets start by doing the fore mentioned tests and take it from thereHope you get betterLet me know if any questions
