Hello,Welcome to JustanswerHas this happened before ?Has she been examined for this by a doctor? What are the medical conditions diagnosed for her and on what medication is she for them?
No this has not happened before and she has not seen a doctor yet. She is currently in FL and is coming home on Tuesday. She wants to wait till she gets home on Tuesday to see her doctor. Do you think it's wise for her to wait till Tuesday. She has been diagnosed with CLL, but currently her levels are good and is not receiving any treatment. She was taking high blood pressure medication and I think that's everything.
Thank you for the additional information and for your patience.I am sorry to hear that she has had to go through much.Keeping in view age, the presentation of the symptoms and her history the differentials could be Hemorrhoids (1st degree) cause of bleed here being the constipation itself, Second possibility can be Inflammatory Bowel Disease and the third can be Carcinoma. However nothing can be said with out a proper physical examination and investigations. It would be best not to delay a visit to a doctor, However the need for an emergency visit would arise if the bleeding is frank and is not stopping or she starts feeling dizzy or some thing comes out of the anal area, is painful and wont go back in.She should keep herself well hydrated with over the counter oral rehydrating salt.Hope This HelpedRegardsDr MASK
She is not feeling any pain and currently takes the following medications:
Simbastatin (20mg a day) - Cholesterol
Atenlol (25mg a day) - Heart Medication
Warfarin (7mg a day) - Blood thinner
Allegra (800mg a day) - allergies
B6 (100mg a day)
B12 (1500mcg a day)
Vitamin C (500mg a day)
Vitamin D 3 (2000iu a day)
Flax Seed Oil (2000mg a day)
Fish Oil (1200mg a day)
Should she eliminate any of these vitamins from her diet? Should she try taking a stool softener? Also, she just took 3 Duclox pills.
Thanks!
None of these except for warfarin have the chance to play a negative role in her present condition.Since warfarin is a blood thinner therefor it can cause the bleeding to stop over a longer time than normal. That said however warfarin's half life is around 2 to 3 days so for its effects to decrease it would take that long.Still if the bleeding is frank or not stopping than the doctors in the ER can giver her the antidote which is Vitamin K.So among these medicines what may help her would be stoping Warfarin.Hope This HelpedRegardsDr MASK

What about the stool softener and the Dulcolax?
The Stool Softener and dulcolex may prove to be helpful however as I said before she needs a physical examination and these measures can only help a little and can not be considered as a definitive treatment.Hope This HelpsRegardsDr MASK
