Hello and welcome to justanswer!
I will be happy to help you.
Actually there could be three types of blood thickening .
Primary , in which bone marrow is activated (Myeloproliferation) to to make extra cells of mainly red cells in the blood to thicken it.
This condition may cause chest pain , fatigue
, headache , palpations , dizziness etc.
It can be treated by Phlebotomy , i.e. draining some blood by special techniques by doctor.
Use of Aspirin .
There are some medications like , hydroxyurea and Radioactive phosphorus etc.
However you should exercise more,
Take cool water baths , avoid extreme temperatures, and quit alcohol and smoking.By these techniques you can control the onset of the disease.
Some other causes of thickening of blood are ,Secondary plycythemia caused by low oxygen levels or malignancy which can be ruled out.
If some antibodies
like IgM immunoglobulins are increased they can cause this condition.
Air pollution may cause blood thickening if the person is allergic or if his/her immune system is hyperactive.
I think you can rule out all these conditions.
Hope I have answered your question.
