skindoctor2000 :

ear popping and ringing can occur with the sinus and ear infection

skindoctor2000 :

it is commonly seen

skindoctor2000 :

with antibiotic and steroid use the infection should heal within 3 to 4 weeks

skindoctor2000 :

if it does not heal , the antibiotic sensitivity of the discharge should be done

skindoctor2000 :

the ear needs to be examined by the Ear Nose Throat Doctor

Customer:

I'm now physically feeling alot better but popping, ringing and clogged feeling persist. Does this, perhaps, signal that I'm still "draining" and my ear tube is not yet fully functioning properly?

skindoctor2000 :

Yes sometimes the fluid does remain behind even after the infection has resolved

skindoctor2000 :

and hence the ear tube may not function properly

skindoctor2000 :

drainage of the fluid is sometimes done by the ENt surgeon
