Hello and welcome to JustAnswer,

if this has been a chronic problem or one that has gone on for some time you need to see an ENT physician to be evaluated.

As you can see there are many causes. the ear wash and anything you put in the outside of your ear will have no effect on this whatsoever. this is a middle ear problem, not an outer ear problem.

one thing that many people do to clear their ears is called a VALSALVA MANEUVER

and being on a combination decongestant and antihistamine such as claritin D might do the trick as well.

if this doesn't work, then seeing an ENT is your next step.

good luck and than you for your question.

I noticed that the other expert opted out.

What questions do you still have?

I have seen an net and tried several home remedies, I still have the same issue, the net said he could not find anything wrong, my ears feel blocked and it is sometimes worse than other times, mostly worse at night

This is most likely eustachian tube dysfunction.
The pressure in the ears does not equalized.

Frankly you can do the valsalva maneuver a lot, but it usually works temporarily.
do you have allergies or any other problems, sinus problems, etc?
