Hi,

Sometimes the tears may appear healed but a microscopic tear may still be present. I would continue the nitro/lidocaine cream for another 2-4 weeks to see if that provides relief. You can also use cornstarch mixed in water and a very small amount of hydrocortisone cream (but make sure it is a thick mixture) on the area to help decrease any inflammation. Also continue the fiber and fluids.
