This answer was rated:

what is a cardiac apical aneurysm and what is treatment if any?

Did they notice any other abnormality besides aneurysm? Is there any clot in it?

Customer: replied 5 years ago.
Clot not been mentioned, recently had a CT scan but results not forthcoming yet.. I feel absolutely exhausted, slow pulse usually less than 60 bpm. Have RA as well being treated by Humira injection.
Thank you for the input.

Apical cardiac aneurysm is abnormal dilatation of the apex or tip of the heart in left ventricle. It usually occurs following an infection. This causes scarring, thinning of the part causing abnormal dilatation. The treatment depends on the its size, dysfunction of the left ventricle. Sometimes clot can be there in the aneurysm which can need anti-coagulation.
