i took excedrin about 4 hours ago is it safe to take meloxicam

This answer was rated:

i took excedrin about 4 hours ago is it safe to take meloxicam 7.5 now

There are a few considerations.

Aspirin of excedrin along with meloxicam can increase the gastric side effects.

This can be minimized taking it after food.

Antacid can be taken.

The efficacy of meloxicam may be reduced to some extent.

I hope this information helps.

I will be happy to assist, if you need any clarification.

Please feel free for any follow up query.

meloxicam was prescibed 7-20-10 and says discard after 7-20-11 recone its still good? stopped taking because it made me dizzy at work and alittle drowzy
I would suggest not to take it.

You experienced side effects before & the efficacy now will be doubtful.

what about tramadol hcl or mylan 143
How many excedrin did you take?

How much acetaminophen was there?

2excedrine ... another doctor told me to take naproxen because he believes i have inflammed muscles in my thighsand abbs
Indomethacin, naproxen & meloxicam are of the same group.

Tramadol has no reported interaction with excedrin.

You can take another tylenol too.

so its ok to take tramadol ? what is indomethacin.......mylan? plus i havent taken tylenal yet

Mylan 143 contains indomethacin.

Tramadol can be taken with excedrin.

Tylenol is safer alternative.

i also take protonix for gerd and have sleep apnea.. isleep on a c-pap machine
When you have GERD, it is better to avoid antiinflammatory analgesics like meloxicam, indomethacin, naproxen. If it is at all needed, then antacid can be taken along with.
