Thank you for clarifying.

You are showing great courage in opting for the HIV test as a precautionary measure before settling down in life.

You need not fear the test, you seem to have had a normal personal life and not really risky behavior.

Please be strong and go ahead with the test, this would most likely be negative, as your previous one was negative, you do not show any symptoms after being in a 2 year relationship.

A negative test result would only give you strength to carry on with your life as normal without fear and anxiety, you should be strong and go on with the test.

I hope this answer helps you.

HIV can present with symptoms like an unintended weight loss of more than 15 % body weight, or an unexplained fever or loose stools for more than a month, not getting better with normal medications etc.

Other than this, HIV can also be present without any symptoms.

HIV is suspected in a high risk population, like people with multiple sexual partners, intravenous drug abusers etc.

From your description, I do not think you should worry about possible HIV, the test would only confirm this.
