If you are having a new squeezing upper arm pain, you should get checked out in the emergency room.

While this could simply be an inflammed nerve in the neck, causing pains in the arm -- the concern here would be a potential heart issue, as angina and heart attacks can cause symptoms of a squeezing discomfort in the left shoulder and arm as well as the chest.

So, they will do an exam, bloodwork, and a EKG to look at the heart.

If this checks out OK, which I hope, then further evaluation can be done about the squeezing arm pain, which can be from "cervical radiculopathy".
