I heard the body can adjust in 4-6 weeks. Is this correct? That symptoms will lessen and cease in that amount of time????
Expert:  Dr. Owen replied 6 years ago.
The shot lasts at a minimum of 14 weeks from injection - but the everlasting effects take about 3 to 6 months to return to 'normal' after the last injection.
They will lessen and return to normal.
I hope this helps, Please click on ACCEPT, thank you for your questions.

Sorry to ask again- one more question though.
Does Depo have a half life of 50 days at 4 intervals?
Expert:  Dr. Owen replied 6 years ago.
Half life is 50 injected into the muscle (Intramuscular) - so I see what you are saying about 200 days - hence why I say 3 to 6 months.
