Dr PG (M.D.) :

Hi,

Dr PG (M.D.) :

It would appear that your sense of taste is affected by the cold that you are having

Dr PG (M.D.) :

This is causing the salty sensation

Dr PG (M.D.) :

Regular steam inhalation

Dr PG (M.D.) :

Saline nasal drops

Dr PG (M.D.) :

plenty of oral fluids (avoid tea & coffee though)

Dr PG (M.D.) :

and OTC cough syrups should do the trick

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

so its nothing to worry about?

Dr PG (M.D.) :

If the symptoms persist, or if you have high fever then you need to be evaluated by your physician for prescription medicines

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

jsut the cough is worrying me a little

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

i understand the saline will cause the salty taste but my girl friend doesn't use it and she taste salt too

Dr PG (M.D.) :

Hmmm

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

so final answer is the type of cold

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

ty doc i 'm sure as long as my flem stays clear i'll be ok

Dr PG (M.D.) :

That is a bit unusual

Dr PG (M.D.) :

:)

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

i accept your answer and ty

Dr PG (M.D.) :

But I think that the present time you are alright with the possible diagnosis of respiratory tract infection only

Dr PG (M.D.) :

TY

Dr PG (M.D.) :

Do remember to press the GREEN accept button so that I am paid for the transaction

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

ok i'll keep an eye on it

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

was green now clear

Dr PG (M.D.) :

That is good news

JACUSTOMER-kwsf9rpq- :

tks again
