meisentery inflamation.



Following antibiotics can be given for the mesentry inflammation instead of Levofloxacin;


1) Clindamycin

2) Metronidazole

3) Amoxicillin

4) Ampicillin/sulbactam

5) Ciprofloxacin

I am looking for a generic, one with the least side affects.



Amoxicillin is generic and has the least side effect among all.

I am allergic to Amoxicillin.



Ciprofloxacin too is available as generic and has far lesser side effects than the Levaquin.
