Yes, it can be detected on a urine drug test, if it is one of the "drugs" they are testing for. It is becoming more popular to test for that as well as K2 these days.

As a Medical Review Officer, I would have to respectfully XXXXX XXXXX the other expert. Neither K2 or Kush Herbal Incense would cause a positive drug test if the test was confirmed with GC/MS.

These products contain synthetic chemicals related to THC, however they do not break down into THC or the metabolites tested for in standard drug test.

I would however add a caution, since these products are not manufactured by reputable or "ethical" companies, there is no way to know for sure what you are getting. These products may actually contain other illegal drugs, which would then cause a positive drug test.

Currently K2 and Kush are not illegal in most locations, HOWEVER, there is increasing concern, and it may soon be made illegal at least in some states.

Here is an excellent objective reference from Quest Diagnostics, one of the largest drug testing laboratories in the world.
