I am a student working on a case with a 76 year old man with AAA ( @font-face { font-family: "Cambria"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; } aneurysm (6 cm), and @font-face { font-family: "Cambria"; }p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal { margin: 0in 0in 0.0001pt; font-size: 12pt; font-family: "Times New Roman"; }div.Section1 { page: Section1; } Chest X-ray that shows an Aorta elongated and tortuous. And a coronary angiogram reduced to less than 20% stenosis.
Does the abdominal aortic aneurysm measures 6 cm?

yup!
Thank you for the input.

Elongated and tortuous aorta on Chest X ray sounds like thoracic part of the aorta. This can be elongated & become tortuous from a number of causes. In an adult of his age it is likely to be due to atherosclerosis & high blood pressure. CAD is coronary artery disease. It is a type of heart disease.

Any query, please feel free to ask.
It will be my privilege to assist you.
Regards.

That makes sense because he has atherosclerosis and hypoertension. Just clarifying that the tortuous aorta is not a clinical sign of CAD.
Tortuous aorta is not a clinical sign of CAD but it is another manifestation of the same process or atherosclerosis which can affect different parts of the arterial system.
