Response From Expert

HI,

Thanks for your question.

I am an ENT doctor and wants to help you.

Did you saw an ENT for your hearing problem?
Do you have vertigo or ear ringing?
Which investigations were done?

I know i am not answering your question right now but i am actually evaluating your complaint of "trouble understanding words"

Regards

My hearing aids are the second pair I have used. Both caused ear infection. I do have a constant frying noise in my ears. I do have dizzy spells. I have had these problems since youth. My hearing Dr. tells me I will just have to live with these problems, which is ok. I saw the advertisement about the NeutronicEar in the AARP publication and wondered if it was as efective as stated before I spent $500 for I have $5000 in my ears now.

I hope you can answer my concern.

Thanks:

Scott

Thanks for your input.

Well hearing aids are more sensitive than neutronic ear devices. Basically this device amplifies the surrounding sound, and is not a hearing aid, hence it does work as a sound amplifier. I am sorry to say so but if your hearing aids have not worked then neutronic ear device will just be a wastage of money because of its low sensitivity than hearing aids. I suggest that you should see your ENT doctor and discuss with him regarding more powerful hearing aids and in some cases even they donot work. I am sorry for your problem but i have to give you an accurate advice.

I hope this helps you.
