Mysticdoc :

hello,

Mysticdoc :

thanks for your question

Mysticdoc :

when you press on your left side do you feel any pain?

Mysticdoc :

any shortness of breath, cough or fever?

JACUSTOMER-0nl17vsx- :

Yes pain, but like a bruising type pain, not a stabbing pain. No shortness of breath, no cough, no fever, no vomiting or diarrhea. Just the pain, going on for 3 days now. Starting to get concerned.

Mysticdoc :

did you do any heavy lifting or stretching?

JACUSTOMER-0nl17vsx- :

No

Mysticdoc :

it can still be muscle sprain from sleeping posture

Mysticdoc :

you may give a trial of anti inflammatory medication like ibuprofen

Mysticdoc :

apply heat pad

Mysticdoc :

this can be triggered from nerve pinching

Mysticdoc :

intercostal nerves run through the area

Mysticdoc :

they may get pressed during sleeping in a particular posture for long time or mattress problem

Mysticdoc :

in the absence of other symptoms, the differential diagnosis is pretty much it

JACUSTOMER-0nl17vsx- :

Have tried the ibuprofen. Thought maybe it was intestinal of some sort, but it's not going away. It's not unbearable, just uncomfortable.
